Hello! I'm Charlyn, owner of Charlyn Jewels. Welcome to my world of jewelry!
With over eleven years in the fine jewelry industry, I’ve done a little bit of everything — retail sales, inventory management, appraisals, and estate jewelry buying. After spending so many years discovering incredible pieces, I decided it was time to share them with all of you. Every item in my shop is thoughtfully hand-selected by me. It’s extremely important that the jewelry I curate is ethically sourced or a beautifully recycled piece that has already been loved.
As a San Diego native, I was fortunate to be close enough to the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California to pursue my education there. I earned my Graduate Gemologist diploma in 2014, and diving into this industry has been one of the most exciting parts of my life. I genuinely love what I do, and I value having the proper education to choose quality pieces that are made to last.
Sharing my favorite finds with you is my way of expressing myself, and I hope it inspires you to express yourself too! My favorite part of this job is discovering new pieces that feel unique, bold, and full of personality. I love edgy, fun jewelry, and I also have a soft spot for dainty and delicate designs — but vintage, estate, and antique treasures will always have my heart. It feels like a true treasure hunt every single time, which means there will always be a variety in my shop.
